The Collections at WSA : Shoe Auction

The Collections at WSA is the premier luxury footwear, handbags and accessories show held twice-yearly in Las Vegas in concert with The WSA(TM) Show. This year they will host a special eBay auction with all of the proceeds from the winning eBay bids will be donated directly to Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF), to support ovarian cancer research. The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund was founded in 1994 as a non-profit organization devoted to the formulation of early diagnostic treatment programs and research towards the ultimate conquest of ovarian cancer. The auction is held between from 24-31 and Feb. 3-10 with more than 200 different pairs of shoes donated from leading international designers. These include such notables as; Angeleigh Anastasio, Anne Klein New York, Bettye Muller, Constanca Basto, Detny by Shane & Shawn, Georgina Goodman, Harrys of London, Michael Kors, Missoni, Ralph Lauren, and Stuart Weitzman, with men's shoes from A. Testoni, J Shoes, and Ralph Lauren, as well as handbags from Longchamp and Viva Bags of California. Shoe lovers around the world will have the opportunity to bid on some of the top designer fashions while donating to an important cause. The site is self-explanatory and simple to use and those new to eBay can register easily at no charge and begin bidding immediately. The Collections at WSA designers will also host a Feb. 3 benefit "Super Slippers" program in Las Vegas. There will be a silent auction of soft sculpture shoe-shaped "slippers," styled and decorated by leading footwear designers exhibiting at the show. Proceeds of the silent auction will also go to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. The Collections at WSA is the largest and most prestigious luxury designer fashion footwear and accessories event in the world featuring more than 350 international designers. Each WSA Show attracts more than 36,000 participants from 95 countries including 1,600 exhibitors showcasing over 6,000 brands.
