Bespoke Shoemaking, A Comprehensive Guide to Handmade Footwear

Netizens

A question I have been frequently asked is where do you learn about shoe making. For the do it yourself enthusiast there remarkably few references, short of attending organised courses which are not always convenient. All that has changed because there is now a new shoe book entitled, "
Bespoke Shoemaking, A Comprehensive Guide to Handmade Footwear
" by Tim Skyrme.

The book contains 300 pages and 700 illustrations and was written for the novice shoe maker. The content covers everything from sharpening a knife to making welted shoes.

Worth a swizz.
