Nike Air Structure Triax: Beam me up Scottie
Nike, Apple iPod Nano have collaborated on Nike Air Structure Triax Trainers. The shoe is considered a good running shoe and when combined with a sensor fitted inside the sock liner conveys when activated information about distance, speed and time travelled to the iPod Nano. In response the MP3 pumps motivational music and vocal coaching tips into the ears of the wearer. On completion the iPod is set into a dock and iTunes sync the music, and workout data. The new system ties in with the nikeplus.com website, allowing runners from around the world to challenge each other and compare their stats, while specialised fitness content, including themed mixes and fitness tips, will be available from the iTunes Music Store.
