Shoes: Closet Queens and other places
In Eva Longoria’s Mediterranean-style house in the Hollywood Hills she has a walk-in closet organized on Ikea's Stolmen shelving system which houses her shoe collection. Mariah Carey displays her designer stilettos, wedges and boots on a gold-leaf and bleached wooden floor in the shoe closet she helped design with Mario Buatta. Jamie Lynn-Sigler (Meadow Soprano) has a walk-in closet from Anthony's Custom Closets which is crammed with over 75 pairs of shoes. Kim Cattrall has a 44-square-foot closet, double-hung racks and an endless set of shelves for her collection of shoes and purses. The shoe shelves are loosely arranged by heel (high or low) or toe (open or closed). Tracee Ellis Ross (Diana Ross’s daughter) has vintage Nikes among other treasures in her shoe closet.
