Number 23: Could this be the last time?
Tinker Hatfield former athlete and architect, designed Air Jordan XX3 which is the long awaited model to commemorate the celebration of 23 years of Air Jordans. Rumour abouds this may be the last in the series but early reports suggest this is the best ‘balling shoe’ of the collection. The XX3 (reference to Jordan’s jersey number) has been designed under Nike’s ‘Considered ethos,’ with waste to a minimum and all materials, wherever possible, environmentally friendly. It is the usual puerile marketing ploy, Air Jordan XX3 will be released in three hyped-up rounds from January to February, starting with a limited edition sent to only 23 retailers. The shoe will retail at $230 (US) with a discounted price of $185 at the national launch. Have a swiz at the best kept secret in the shoe biz.
