Glamour magazine’s first Stiletto 100m Run

More than 100 women took part in Glamour magazine’s first Stiletto 100m Run for charity. The rules specified the heels had to be at least 7cm high and 1.5cm wide. The terrain was over cobblestones and rough concrete and stone mix but the participants made it without serious incident, it was reported. Among the runners were a few celebrities, including former Miss South Africa Jo-Ann Strauss, current Miss South Africa Bokang Montjane, Top Billing presenter Jeannie D, actress Vanessa Haywood and Expresso presenter Liezel van der Westhuizen. The proceeds go to The Homestead Street Children Projects.
