Footsteps Sports Club Inc sponsors youth in sports activities, with a strong emphasis on active anti-drug, anti-tobacco, and anti-gang involvement. The focus of the organisation is to divert high-risk youth from negative street activities to avenues of creative expression which will have a major impact on their lives. Dr. Footsie also supports foot care programs geared toward an older audience concerned with diabetes and other concerns of aging.
As part of their fund-raising needs and to provide educators and organizations with give-away and award items associated with common goals, Dr. Footsie's characters are available on a wide selection of items.
