Makers of Spine Venom shoes invited 500 people in the U.S. to submit a short video of themselves wearing Under Armor's Spine Venom brand of workout shoes. Each of the invited participants received a free pair of shoes in exchange for wearing them in a self-created YouTube action video and submitting it to the company. The winner will be determined in part by the number of views and "likes" on YouTube, as well as Under Armour officials' judgment on creativity and "intensity" of the video product. The overall winner will receive a special four-day trip accompanied by a personal trainer and 20 pairs of the Spine Venom shoes. Aaron Tomlinson is an Albany firefighter and one of 500 participants.
