Feet for Life - the top 5 foot ailments




Feet for Life' campaign for the UK College of Podiatry (formerly Society of Chirpodists) has identified the most common foot complaints from both men and women.

The top five complaints for men were:
1. Hard skin (27 per cent)
2. Sore/aching feet (18 per cent)
3. Tight calf muscles (16 per cent)
4. Joint place - corns (13 per cent) and blisters (13 per cent)
5. Calluses (12 per cent)

The top five complaints for women were:
1. Hard skin (42 per cent)
2. Sore/aching feet (29 per cent)
3. Joint place - bunions (15 per cent) and blisters (15 per cent)
4. Tight calf muscles (14 per cent)
5. Calluses (15 per cent)
