For those too young to remember the Spice Girls were a pop phenomenon of the 90s that took the world by storm and came to represent Girl Power extraordinare in the commercial sense. When Scary (Mel B), Sporty (Mel C), Baby (Emma Bunton), Ginger (Geri Halliwell) and Posh (Victoria Beckham, nee Adams) were catapulted to international fame in 1996, their lyrics were as infectious as their striking fashion choices. The group started from humble beginnings and dressed in the fashions of the time, but as they grew in popularity the Spice Girls began wearing customized footwear that was produced in multiple copies. At the height of their success, the Spice Girls launched their own shoe line for adults and children featuring the very same styles they popularized.
Each Spice Girl embraced her own style with Sporty Spice seen most often in sneakers and Posh Spice (aka Victoria Beckham) with more glamorous styles.
